Mendy's Photography

A new logo and Webflow website for a New Jersey event photographer with over 13 years of experience, designed to showcase his work, present his packages clearly, and turn visitors into booked events.

About the Project

Mendy Moscowitz is a New Jersey event photographer specializing in Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, family portraits, weddings, and corporate events, with more than 13 years behind the camera. His previous site covered the basics: four service cards, a short bio, testimonials, and a contact form. But it led with weddings even though Bar and Bat Mitzvahs were the heart of his business, sent every gallery button to the same place, and listed add-ons like photobooths and albums in a single line with no detail or pricing. Families could see that he took photos, but not why he was the right choice for their simcha. This project covered a new logo, site strategy, design, copy structure, and a full Webflow build, including a CMS for albums and a blog.

The Vision

For a photographer, the images are the pitch. The vision was a site that steps back and lets the photography lead, paired with a warm, personal tone that reflects how Mendy works with families: patient, attentive, and focused on the moments that matter most.

The Goals

The redesign was built around three core goals:

  • Showcase his event work through a gallery and curated albums
  • Present packages and add-ons clearly so families can plan with confidence
  • Make booking easy by answering questions upfront and simplifying inquiries

The Visual Identity

The new logo gives Mendy's Photography a clean, recognizable mark that feels professional without pulling attention from the work. Beyond the logo, the visual direction keeps the focus on the photography. A clean layout, generous spacing, and restrained typography frame the images without competing with them, so every section feels polished and every photo has room to breathe.

The Website

The new site was restructured around how families actually choose a photographer. Bar and Bat Mitzvahs now lead, packages spell out exactly what is included, from shot list consultations to 48 hour sneak peeks, and add-ons that were once a single line are now written to sell the experience. SEO metadata targets local searches for Bar and Bat Mitzvah photography in New Jersey, and I built a blog into the CMS so Mendy can publish posts on his own. Each new post keeps the site fresh and gives Google more reasons to show it in local search results. Key features include:

  • Album pages built in the CMS, so each event tells its full story
  • Individually described and priced add-ons, from slideshows to leather-bound albums
  • An FAQ and multi-service inquiry form that handle questions before the first call
  • Google Reviews, Instagram feed, and WhatsApp chat widgets for live social proof and instant contact

Before and After

In Their Words

Why It Matters

Families booking a photographer for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah are trusting someone with a once in a lifetime day. The old site asked them to take that leap with very little information. The new site builds trust before the first conversation: the work is front and center, live Google reviews and a fresh Instagram feed provide ongoing social proof, the pricing is clear, and families can message Mendy on WhatsApp the moment they are ready. Presenting add-ons as real offers, each with its own description and price, also gives families an easy way to build a fuller package. With the blog in place, Mendy can keep strengthening his search visibility over time without needing a designer for every update. Since launching, the site has brought Mendy significantly more inquiries and bookings, and each inquiry now arrives with the details he needs to respond quickly and say yes.
