About the Project

Helana Herman is a somatic coach who helps women and couples reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and their relationships through nervous system and embodiment work. While the depth of her work was clear when speaking with her directly, the original website didn’t fully communicate that depth online. Visitors landing on the site often needed to interpret the content on their own, making it harder to quickly understand: what somatic coaching is who the work is for and how to take the next step This project focused on redesigning the website with a strong UX strategy, clearer messaging, and a structured user journey that guides visitors toward booking a discovery call.

The Vision

The vision for this project was to create a website that feels like an extension of Helana’s coaching style: grounded, supportive, and deeply attuned to the people she serves. Instead of overwhelming visitors with information, the new site was designed to guide them through a thoughtful experience that gradually builds clarity and trust. The goal was for visitors to feel: understood in their experiences curious about somatic work confident about reaching out Ultimately, the website needed to function as more than an online brochure. It needed to act as a gentle guide that helps potential clients move from curiosity to connection.

The Visual Identity

The visual direction for the website focuses on creating a calm, grounded, and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the nature of somatic work. The design emphasizes: soft, supportive imagery generous white space simple typography an overall sense of emotional safety and clarity Rather than relying on heavy design elements, the visual approach supports the message by keeping the experience clean, warm, and easy to navigate. This allows visitors to focus on understanding the work rather than being distracted by visual complexity.

The Website

The website was redesigned around a guided narrative structure that aligns with how potential clients typically think when exploring coaching. Instead of presenting disconnected sections, the homepage now walks visitors through a sequence of questions: Is this for me? Helping visitors identify themselves in the challenges being described. Do you understand what I’m experiencing? Building trust and emotional resonance. How does this work? Explaining somatic coaching in accessible, grounded language. What would it look like to work together? Clarifying the process and what clients can expect. What’s the next step? Encouraging visitors to book a discovery call. Navigation was simplified to reduce distraction and emphasize one primary action: booking a discovery call. Calls-to-action are placed throughout the site at moments where visitors are most likely to feel ready to move forward.

Why It Matters

For many coaches and practitioners, the depth of their work is difficult to communicate through a website alone. Without thoughtful structure and messaging, potential clients may leave the site without fully understanding the value of what’s being offered. This redesign transforms Helana’s website from a static informational page into a guided experience that builds clarity, trust, and connection. By aligning the structure, messaging, and design with how people actually make decisions, the new website helps bridge the gap between the depth of her work and the people who are searching for it.
