Helana Herman - SEP

Helana's original website didn't reflect the depth or professionalism of her practice. This project rebuilt it from the ground up — with a clear visual identity, focused messaging, and a guided user journey that converts visitors into inquiries.

About the Project

Helana Herman is a somatic practitioner and SEP-certified coach helping women heal through nervous system and embodiment work. While the depth of her practice was immediately clear in conversation, her website told a different story. The original site listed multiple unrelated services — life coaching, couples work, SRT, and retreats — without a clear thread connecting them. Visitors with no prior knowledge of somatic work had no way to understand what she did, whether it was right for them, or how to take the next step. This project focused on rebuilding her online presence with a strong strategic foundation, cohesive visual identity, and a user journey designed to guide the right clients toward booking.

The Vision

To create a website that feels like an extension of Helana's coaching style — grounded, supportive, and deeply attuned to the people she serves. Rather than overwhelming visitors with information, the new site guides them through a thoughtful experience that builds clarity and trust at every step. The goal was for visitors to feel seen in their experiences, curious about somatic work, and confident about reaching out.

The Visual Identity

The visual direction creates a calm, grounded atmosphere that reflects the nature of somatic work. Soft, supportive imagery and generous white space replace the cluttered, generic aesthetic of the original site. Typography is clean and approachable, and the overall palette communicates emotional safety and clarity — allowing visitors to focus on understanding the work rather than navigating visual noise.

The Website

The site was redesigned around a guided narrative structure that mirrors how potential clients think when first exploring somatic coaching. The homepage moves visitors through a logical sequence: helping them identify themselves in the challenges described, building emotional resonance and trust, explaining somatic work in accessible language, clarifying the process and what to expect, and finally, inviting them to book a discovery call. Navigation was simplified to reduce distraction, and CTAs are placed at the moments visitors are most likely to feel ready to move forward.

Why It Matters

For coaches and practitioners, the depth of their work is often impossible to communicate through a poorly structured website. Without clear messaging and intentional design, potential clients leave before they ever understand the value of what's being offered. This redesign transforms Helana's website from a static, confusing page into a guided experience that builds clarity, trust, and connection — bridging the gap between the quality of her work and the people actively searching for it.
